Head of Business Promotion in Uzbekistan

Role: Business Promotion Head

Reporting To: Country Head

Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Management:

• Lead the strategy conceptualization in terms of selection of right customer, product and execution
• Brainstorm and create new ideas to support organization goal and strategic objectives
• Communicate organization core values, goals and objectives to empower field force to position solutions to clients, by understanding the competitive position of Dr. Reddy's & our unique value proposition
• Understand customers, analyze impact of industry trends on customer behavior, research competitors and assist in adapting service offering to better meet their needs

Promotion Management:

• Achieving the periodically established development plan for the assigned territory.
• Oversee the activities of the field team, guiding field managers in pharmaceutical marketing and ensuring the implementation of strategies/plans for each product.
• Ensuring availability of drugs across the country to help patients to manage disease better

Execution excellence:

• Collaborate with field team and cross-functional team members for effective execution
• Performs Root Cause Analysis in planning and implementation, learn from mistakes, and adapt plans throughout the year
• Establish ongoing communication and collaboration cadence with marketing team to support promotion success throughout execution of the plan

Data Analytics & Field Process Management:

• Provide relevant inputs to conceptualize and plan for Field process, build required support for Field Process specialist. Give recommendations to build strong Field process systems.
• Analysis and Reporting of process parameters (Coverage, category/competition analysis, collections report) to all the major stakeholders to facilitate decision-making.
• Supporting marketing team to generate, validate insights
• Synthesize data, findings, and integrate data analysis for execution.Support data - driven decision-making.

Digital Marketing Management:

• Support and execute the marketing plans including Patient-centric innovation and Doctor-centric innovation. Building or supporting various digital marketing initiatives like webinars.
• Execute omni-channel marketing in support with marketing team
• Identify how & where technology can be leveraged to generate insights

Team Management:

• Guiding field managers in pharmaceutical marketing and ensuring the implementation of strategies/plans for each product.
• Training new field managers and continuously upgrading the knowledge of existing field managers.
• Monitoring the progress of field managers and continuously analyzing available data/reports.
• Conducting periodic field visits with field managers and regional managers to identify areas for development and improve their professionalism and skills.
• Motivating and building a team of strong field managers, regional managers, and medical representatives.
• Maintaining necessary documentation, reporting, and archiving.
• Completing training, briefing, and knowledge assessments within the established timeframes within the scope of job responsibilities.
• Carrying out supervisory orders and reporting any identified deficiencies within the scope of one's authority.
• Maintaining production and labor discipline, internal work regulations, and taking measures to prevent violations.

Mandatory Skills:

• People management & coaching skills, Cross cultural orientation, Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, Strong communication skills
• Languages English, Russian/Uzbek- Verbal, Oral, Written
• Understanding of Uzbekistan Pharma market, key trends & KOL relationship, therapy knowledge, Territory and Geography knowledge, Promotion skills, Marketing management,

Education & Experience:

• Graduate Degree (preferably with MBA/PGD in promotion/marketing or in pharmaceutics)
• At least 5-10 years of promotion management experience in pharma with people management
