About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional passionate about recycling, circular economy, and environmental technologies.

This role will be key in building and fostering relationships with local partners while identifying business opportunities and market potential for the collection of empty beverage containers for recycling in Uzbekistan. You will also help map the legislative and business environment
in the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as company's local representative in Uzbekistan during the contract period.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (government bodies, retailers, payment providers, recyclers, municipalities, beverage producers).
  • Support implementation of pilot projects, including coordination of installations and visibility activities.
  • Conduct market mapping and collect data about retailers, beverage producers, waste management, recycling companies and competitors.
  • Mapping the market potential for collection of empty beverage containers.
  • Prepare and support meetings, follow-ups, and reporting to company's regional team.
  • Represent company professionally at local events, meetings, and exhibitions.
  • Gather market insights and monitor legislative developments related to Waste Management, Deposit Return Systems, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR);
  • Build and nurture professional networks with government, waste management, and recycling sectors.
  • Identify and lead strategic business development opportunities in the reverse vending and circular economy domain.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior executives and public stakeholders.
  • Build long-term partnerships with relevant industry and government actors

Requirements

  • Fluent in Uzbek and Russian, with good command of English.
  • Experience in business development, sales, sustainability, retail, or government relations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and able to work independently.
  • Passion for environmental innovation, circular economy, and sustainability.
  • Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Confident with Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools.
  • University degree
  • Friendly and upbeat demeanour
