Deploy Technical Manager

Job Description
As a Deploy Technical Manager, you'll be at the heart of our RAN deployment and swap projects, owning all technical management activities defined in the customer contract. From planning to execution and final customer acceptance, you'll ensure every project meets the highest standards of technical excellence, quality, risk management, and on-time delivery.

You'll also serve as the primary technical interface and first point of escalation, building trust and driving success in high-impact customer projects.

This role requires strong expertise in Radio technologies, proven project leadership skills, and fluency in both Russian and English.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Serve as the primary technical contact and escalation point for customer projects, ensuring strong collaboration with project management and technical teams.
• Lead all technical management activities defined in the customer contract—from delivery preparation through deployment and acceptance—focusing on quality, risk, and timelines.
• Ensure operational continuity and network availability by applying Nokia guidelines and Project Management Methodology, and support planning, delivery, and acceptance processes.
• Manage technical resources by validating workload and expertise needs, overseeing allocation, onboarding, release, and skills alignment.
• Oversee key technical tasks such as integration, system acceptance, fault resolution, and technical risk management, including mitigation planning and execution.
• Support handover to operations and identifies new technical opportunities for contract expansion; collaborate with Solution Managers when applicable to review solutions and assumptions.

Key Skills And Experience
You have :

• Strong expertise in Nokia radio technologies (2G–5G), including rollout/swap projects, and solid knowledge of Nokia tools, features, and deployment processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications with 5+ years of hands-on RAN experience, delivering end-to-end solutions to external customers.
• 3+ years in technical project management or team leadership within the RAN domain, including customer-facing roles or solution consulting.
• Fluency in English and Russian and a proven ability to interface with customers at technical and project levels.
