About the school

The British School of Tashkent (BST) is a co-educational day school in the leafy suburbs of Uzbekistan's capital. We enroll students from Early Years to Year 13 and provide a British-style education for an international student body. We are the largest international school in Tashkent with around 800 students from nearly 50 countries. We operate from two campus sites in the vibrant and exciting Tashkent. The school provides a high-quality education in impressive facilities resourced to the highest level.

About you

We would love to welcome the right person to BST, to lead our marketing, admissions and communications function and meet challenging commercial targets. To be successful in this role you will have:

·       The enthusiasm to be at the heart of the project right from the start, and boundless energy to see it through to success

·       Working with senior colleagues, the ability to plan and execute the strategic marketing, admissions and communications direction for the school and achieve challenging KPIs.

·       Outstanding sales skills, including a natural story-teller's ability to bring the school to life for parents and other stakeholders before the buildings have even been completed

·       A creative eye and untamed imagination to build the school's reputation and attract families with memorable messaging, media and events

·       A talent for collaborating with both teachers and non-teaching staff alike, to align their goals with your own and drive performance

·       A leadership style that embraces inclusion, imparts confidence and inspires success

OUR GLOBAL ACADEMIC RESULTS
 
In 2024, for the 11th consecutive year, Nord Anglia students have outperformed the global average in their IB results, achieving an impressive average score of 34, compared to the global average of 30.3.
 
At A-Level, 49% of students secured grades of A*-A, with 72% achieving A*-B. These results significantly surpass England's A*-A average of 28%.
 
For GCSEs, 47% of all Nord Anglia students' grades were between 7-9 (equivalent to A*-A), well above the UK average of 22%.
