We are seeking an experienced Principal Investment Officer to lead our financial institutions group in Central Asia. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in private sector investments, with a focus on financial institutions, climate finance, gender finance, digital finance, credit and risk management, corporate governance, responsible finance, and related international finance and development issues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall leadership and expertise to our business in Central Asia, driving and shaping our financial inclusion strategy, operations, and business growth in the region. They will also be responsible for generating new business opportunities, serving as the focal point for privatization-related matters, and representing IFC externally.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in developing client relationships, managing staff to achieve high-quality results, and inspiring innovation in an open team-based environment. They will also have excellent writing and research skills, with published research, reports, presentations, and related written work highly valued.
