Key Responsibilities


• Organize, manage, and coordinate the activities of the Internal Audit Department


• Assess and enhance the effectiveness of internal control systems across all operations and units


• Develop and implement the annual audit plan based on risk analysis


• Ensure audit processes comply with International Internal Audit Standards (IIA)
and national regulations


• Present audit findings and recommendations, and monitor implementation


• Provide independent and objective information to the Bank's Management Board and Supervisory Board


• Review internal control, risk management, and compliance systems regularly


• Conduct audits across financial, accounting, credit, and IT operations


• Manage and mentor the internal audit team, ensuring professional growth and performance


• Collaborate with external auditors, the Central Bank, and other regulatory bodies

Requirements


• Higher education in
Economics, Finance, or Accounting


• At least
5 years of experience
in the banking or financial sector, including
3 years in a managerial position


• Minimum
1 year of experience
in risk management, asset-liability management, lending, accounting, or external audit — or possession of international certificates such as
CIA, CFA, CIPA, ACCA, CPA, DipIFR, CRM, or FRM


• Strong knowledge of banking legislation and Central Bank regulations


• Familiarity with international accounting and auditing standards


• Confident computer and IT user


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in
Uzbek
and
Russian (B2 level)


•
English (B1)
