Our Liaison Office in Sakarya is seeking an R&D Engineer for Contract Bus Manufacturing Liaison to act as the key interface between our R&D center and external production partners in the field of bus manufacturing. In this role, you will coordinate technical communication and actively contribute to decision-making on manufacturing-related engineering topics. You will be responsible for ensuring that product designs, specifications, and updates are effectively implemented on the production line while resolving issues in a timely and decisive manner. With your in-depth knowledge of bus systems, you will be the bridge between R&D and production, quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the process.

What You Can Expect:

• Serve as the main point of contact between R&D and the external production line in Sakarya.
• Coordinate the transfer of designs, specifications, and engineering changes to production.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during manufacturing.
• Escalate unresolved problems to R&D and maintain timely feedback loops.
• Monitor and support the implementation of customer special requests (CSRs), design updates, and modifications.
• Verify production compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare regular progress, issue, and risk reports for R&D management.
• Participate in audits, validations, and inspections.
• Provide structured feedback from production to R&D for continuous design optimization.
• Suggest and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce recurring issues.

That's Why You Are a Match: 

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of vehicles (preferably buses) including body structures, chassis, powertrain, and electrical systems. Prior experience in commercial vehicle or bus product development, testing, or production will be an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or liaison roles.
• Strong knowledge of order management, quality standards, regulatory compliance, and production processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Familiarity with reporting tools and structured documentation practices.
• English is must and German will be an asset.
