Python Software Engineer

Evertech seeks a skilled software development professional to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and enhancing product offerings.
- Develop and maintain robust Python applications and services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to enhance user experience.
- Engage in code reviews and maintain best practices in software development.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations to drive best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable solutions using Python programming language.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Python.
- Strong proficiency in web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of Docker and containerization technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
