THE POSITION

Product Development Manager (Food & Beverages) - Tashkent

THE COMPANY

One of the leading players in the beverage industry with production facilities in Tashkent.

THE JOB

For our client we are looking for an expert in Product Development to launch several new beverage food products into the market.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the new product development
  • Validate of ingredients for food industry & search of new customers
  • Lead the technical product development projects from idea or marketing brief through the entire project
  • Organize pilot and industrial tests according to innovation process, procedure
  • Engage internal tasters & suppliers' teams to accelerate and make every daywork in product development more effective
  • Communicate and collaborate with external partners and suppliers during innovation process
  • Formula and costing creation

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have already worked in a lab or facility with other food processing companies and hold a degree in food processing, chemistry, biology

As the role is rather senior and a big part of the success for the further company development will depend we require a minimum of 10 years work experience as technologist or similar with a major beverage producer or food ingredients supplier.

You also have gained experience in leading cross functional project teams in order to facilitate product commercialization, the product commercialization process or resolve product related issues

In addition to the technical knowledge of the process you are an expert product commercialization and latest production technology.

As the company places a big focus on food safety and quality, your skills and approach need to be geared toward this aspect.
