a Trial Development Specialist – Tomato and Pepper (m/f/d) .
This is a
full-time and permanent position
, based in
Ragusa, Italy
.

Main Duties:

  • Set up product performance trials to assess the added value of new varieties.
  • Collect, analyze, and report quantitative and qualitative data from trials.
  • Support the Product Manager and the Research Department by establishing experimental trials and proposing product life cycle (PLC) advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and conduct field trials for tomato and pepper in Sicily.
  • Design, execute, collect data, analyze, and report trial plans using tools such as Mercado.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Team for tomato and pepper.
  • Provide detailed product information and cultivation advice.
  • Design and improve trial protocols to ensure the quality of plans, data, and completeness.
  • Prepare for meetings and successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Technical Sales Representatives, and Agents.

Required Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Horticulture (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Experience in the vegetable seed industry is preferred.
  • General experience in product development and trial evaluation.
  • Fluent in English and Italian .
