Project: Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation & Replacement
Role Overview
Pamir is seeking a Senior Civil / Wastewater Engineer to lead the preparation and execution of a major sewer manhole rehabilitation project in Uzbekistan. The engineer will be responsible for preparing project specifications, work planning, and overseeing technical implementation from design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical specifications and design documents for sewer manhole replacement and rehabilitation.
• Prepare work plans, schedules, and resource requirements for project delivery.
• Lead tendering and procurement documentation (technical requirements, evaluations).
• Supervise and provide guidance during construction and rehabilitation works.
• Ensure QA/QC, health & safety, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct technical assessments (manhole surveys, condition grading, rehabilitation options).
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports and advise on technical decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Water/Wastewater Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater, sewer systems, or urban infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in design and rehabilitation of sewer manholes, pipelines, or related assets.
• Proven skills in project planning, specifications writing, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards (EN, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.).
• Fluency in Russian and Uzbek (mandatory).
• English is an advantage but not required.
• Experience on international donor-funded projects (ADB, EBRD, World Bank, etc.) is a plus.
