Android Developer

Applied Labs is seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in the Program Development industry. As an Android Developer at Applied Labs, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and launch new features, and ensuring the quality and performance of our Android applications. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects, contribute to the development of new technologies and products, and work with a talented and passionate team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new Android applications from scratch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues in Android applications
• Ensure the quality and stability of our Android applications by writing automated tests and implementing best practices
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute new ideas to improve the user experience and overall product quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in developing Android applications
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and Android architecture patterns
• Experience with performance and memory tuning, profiling, and debugging
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to translate technical concepts into lay terms for non-technical stakeholders
