Project Coordinator Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in the successful execution of our project.

  • Lead and coordinate project activities, including logistics and travel arrangements.
  • Support establishment and implementation of project coordination systems.
  • Contribute to development of annual work plans, budgets, and project reporting.
  • Assist Project Leader with activity-level planning and administration.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports on project progress.
  • Liaise with internal and external counterparts to facilitate collaboration and identify potential risks.
  • Identify, develop, and manage partnerships that support project implementation.
  • Organize and attend key project meetings for effective coordination and planning.
  • Maintain project calendar, track project outputs, and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in law, environmental science, climate change, policy, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of work experience in project coordination and management processes.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in water management or climate change.
  • Experience preparing scientific information and papers.
Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, implement, and monitor work activities.
  • Proven experience in using project management software.
