Mercedes Benz Türk Construction, Infrastructure, and Facility Planning Department is looking for a Civil Engineer to work on projects at the Hoşdere and Sakarya projects.

The main responsibilities of this position include making short-, medium- and long-term investment decisions in line with the facility's current and future growth needs, taking into account new technological developments and requirements. This covers feasibility studies, budgeting, and project design; managing infrastructure investment projects; providing technical consultancy for operational expansion projects; managing the technical infrastructure aspects of growth projects; organizing and managing investment tender processes; ensuring the effective and correct use of financial resources for superstructure and infrastructure investments; following legal regulations; and managing application processes with official institutions.

What You Can Expect:

• Preparing construction project scopes based on requests from various projects and departments
• Coordinating and managing design works with external design/consultant companies
• Preparing cost estimation and quantity take-off studies for construction works
• Coordinating civil, electrical, and mechanical units during tendering and construction processes
• Preparing bill of quantities, administrative and technical specifications, and tender documents
• Providing technical support to the purchasing department during tender processes
• Acting as the responsible representative for MBT in projects with contractor companies
• Conducting site inspections for ongoing construction projects
• Preparing progress payment reports for completed works
• Coordinating with internal MBT units to issue provisional and final acceptance documents and follow up on deficiencies
• Preparing management reports and presentations on budget, timeline, and project status during project initiation, construction, and completion phases
• Organizing and documenting regular follow-up and information meetings with MBT internal departments throughout project processes

That's Why You Are a Match:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 10 years of experience (preferably in industrial facility projects)
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Ability to read projects using BIMx and Revit software
• Experience in site and office engineering in industrial construction
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in critical situations
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• No travel restrictions between Sakarya and Istanbul
• Experience with SAP
• Fluent in English, preferably with knowledge of German
