Mechanical Manager Fertilizer Division

Job Purpose

1. Timely maintenance of Plant machineries & other auxiliary sub-shops & minimize the breakdowns.

2. Spare part management considering preventive & predictive maintenance and exploring Local vendors for development of Critical spare locally. In case of new project, designing, erection, commissioning through EPC or Local contractors.

3. Control the financial loss due to breakdowns and any losses on account of engineering reasons

Core Responsibilities

1. Make plant available ready for production by reducing breakdown to achieve business plan

2. Installation & erection of new machineries and commissioning including contract management

3. Reduction in generation of waste and Spare management in optimized way and in house fabrication of spares.

4. Prepare & adhere the preventive maintenance schedule and adhere project timeline for new project implementation

5. Ensure process and regulatory compliances including HSE compliances and providing ESG data

6. Labour and work place safety to achieve Zero accident target of the organisation

7. Reduction in production loss with prompt response to the breakdown

8. Organizes and conducts timely and high-quality training for employees regarding safe working methods

9. Manage work assignments & workforce planning and control attrition & overtime

10. Providing MIS, preparation & implementation of SOPs
