Agronomist

Job Summary:

Responsible for promoting company products, building relationships with farmers, local government departments, Agrobank, and other stakeholders, while providing technical expertise in agronomy.

Key Responsibilities:

Farmer Relationship Management

1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers.

2. Educate farmers on benefits and usage of company products.

3. Provide technical guidance on crop management and soil health.

Stakeholder Engagement

1. Build rapport with local government agriculture departments.

2. Foster relationships with local Agrobank officials.

3. Network with farmers' accountants and Birja centers.

4. Establish contact with Local Agri producers (Clusters and companies)

Marketing and Promotion

1. Coordinate local advertising (POP/Reklama).

2. Collaborate with local retailers and dealers as part of Chanel management.

3. Promote new products through field trials.

Agronomic Services

1. Conduct soil testing projects by collecting soil samples from farmers and sharing results.

2. Offer expert advice on soil fertility and crop nutrition.

Reporting and Administration

1. Submit regular reports on farmer interactions, sales, and market trends.

2. Maintain records of farmer interactions, soil testing, and product promotions.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field.

2. 10+ years of experience in agronomy, sales, or extension services.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work independently in rural areas.

5. Knowledge of local agriculture industry and market trends.
